The Village

In a valley where glamour and grandeur is a way of life, Snowmass Village is a bit of a respite. And that’s what people love about it. At night, there is a peace and tranquility here that is invigorating for the soul; but step inside any of a number of restaurants and bars, and you’ll find conviviality, too.

Local's Choice

The Collective

One of Snowmass Village's greatest assets is right next door to the Limelight. The Collective is an indoor/outdoor event space with a restaurant and bar, game lounge, patio and a knack for ridiculously fun community events.Learn more

Breathtaker & Tubing

Snowmass’ newest attraction is redefining the mountain experience year-round. The Breathtaker Alpine Coaster takes you on a thrilling ride through the forest at speeds reaching 20mph. In winter, its complemented by Elk Camp’s tubing lanes.

Skittles Lift

Earning its nickname because of its brightly colored gondola cars, the Sky Cab at Fanny Hill offers a free and easy way to navigate up and down the village.

Government Trail

In summer, few cross-country mountain bike trails can offer what Government can. Once it opens after elk calving season (usually June 20), the single-track’s path through the aspens is a beauty worth encountering.

The Ditch Trail

Ignore the unceremonious name. This nearby trailhead is a local’s favorite for one simple reason: it’s scenic beauty. Enjoy views of Mount Daly — hike it in summer, snowshoe it in winter.
