LIMELIGHT ADVENTURES IN SNOWMASS
Being a guest at the Limelight Hotel Snowmass means so much more than just ski-in/ski-out access in winter, and close proximity to trails in summer and fall. Our roster of Limelight Adventures gives you exclusive access to a side of Snowmass few visitors get to see.
First Tracks
First Tracks offers guests the chance to ski/ride freshly groomed corduroy or powder before Snowmass Mountain opens to the public. Depart the Limelight Hotel at 7:45am and meet at the bottom of the Elk Camp Gondola at 7:55am with a valid lift ticket. Skiers/riders must be at least intermediate level skiers, and 18 years of age or older. Taking place most Fridays, beginning December 25th.Maximum: 4 guests. Register with the concierge or front desk in advance.
Guests load the Village Express Chairlift or Elk Camp Gondola once the Ski Patrol have loaded. It could be a few minutes after 8am.
Inside Tracks
A Limelight exclusive, this complimentary, on-mountain adventure is offered in partnership with the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen Snowmass. An exclusive opportunity to get the inside scoop of Snowmass while meeting other guests and skiing/riding with Pros. Although not a lesson, the Pros offer tips and assistance to ensure everyone has a great time. Inside Tracks is the ideal adventure for anyone interested in a full day of skiing/riding in a fun group setting.Offered two days per week: Monday and Friday, January 6–March 30, 2020. (Blackout Date: Monday, February 17, 2020). Guests will depart Limelight Hotel at 8:45am and will return by 3:30pm. Guests must be 16 years of age and up.
Avalanche Dog and Ski Patrol Sweep
Enjoy the magic and quiet of having Snowmass Mountain all to yourself. In conjunction with Snowmass Mountain Ski Patrol, we’re giving you an opportunity like no other. As part of Patrol’s safety measures, they must “sweep” the mountain every night to make sure everyone is safely down and everything is in order. You’ll join these pros to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they put the mountain to bed at the end of each day.Day: Monday
Time: 3:30pm, final run down, intermediate-level skiing. The time will change with extended hours of operation (expected mid-late February).

Meet: 3:20pm at the base of the Big Burn Chair on Snowmass Mountain (take village express at 2:50pm)
Ages: 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
Register: Limelight Adventure Concierge or Front desk by 10am that day.
Guests need to load the Village Express or Sam’s Knob by 2:50pm to make it to the bottom of Big Burn Chair by the designated meeting time. Inquire at the Front Desk for further details.
Inside Trails
Enjoy the thrills of mountain biking on this three-hour guided ride along the beautiful Snowmass cross-country mountain bike trails. You’ll travel in and out of aspen groves and take in the best views of the area. Whether you’re a first-time rider or a seasoned veteran, we've got you covered. Inside Trails can transport you and your bike by ski lift to make your experience above 10,000 feet even better. Experienced locals certified in mountain bike coaching lead these small groups and give an insider’s perspective of the mountain’s most-prized trails.Tours depart from Limelight Snowmass.
