It’s hard to put a value on Baldy and Dollar Mountains, the two mountains that make up Sun Valley. Sun Valley is home to the world’s first chairlift (technically on Rudd Mountain, you can still see it), it’s where destination skiing began. Today it boasts North America’s largest superpipe and an innovative learning center. Then there’s big Bald “Baldy” Mountain. Many agree its lack of lift lines and 66 runs of consistent vertical drop make it the world’s most perfect ski mountain.
