Snowmass Balloon Festival

September 12 -14 | Snowmass Town Park

The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village for its 50th year. This year, spectators are encouraged to drive in, hike up, bike around or walk right up to take in the sights right from where the balloons take flight! The balloons will launch into the air from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and the popular Night Glow will return on Friday evening. This event is free and open to the public.

Oktoberfest

September 27 - 28 | Snowmass Base Village & Mall

To cap off Snowmass’ summer season, Two Parts presents the inaugural Snowmass Oktoberfest! Join in the fun on Saturday 12:00pm – 8:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm – 5:00pm with festivities taking place on the Snowmass Mall and in Snowmass Base Village. This German-inspired festival features all the traditional Oktoberfest classics: steins of beer, pretzel slapping contests, food specials, live music, and more.

Golden Leaf Half Marathon

September 27 | Fanny Hill in Snowmass

The Golden Leaf Half Marathon, presented by ACG, starts from Fanny Hill in Snowmass and runs across the Government trail through the beautiful Aspen groves, finishing at Koch Lumber Park in downtown Aspen.
