The Flatirons

When it comes to iconic skylines, most cities boast steel and glass. In Boulder, it’s The Flatirons—five dramatic sandstone formations rising from the pine-covered foothills just southwest of town. Hike the 1.2-mile Chautauqua Trail for a close-up view or continue to Royal Arch for a more challenging climb. Beyond these, miles of surrounding trails invite deeper exploration into Boulder’s open space. Guests can get there by utilizing our complimentary hotel car service by request.

Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse

Presented as a gift from Boulder’s sister city of Dushanbe in 1998, this ornate and colorful teahouse near Boulder Creek is a sight to behold.
