Some say Aspen’s fourth season is its best. We definitely put it in the top four. When the leaves begin to do their thing, even the most jaded locals can’t help but stare. Ready to peep some leaves? Pack an extra layer and your camera and we’ll see you up at Maroon Bells.
Need the perfect hike or drive? Talk to our Adventure Concierge or the front desk once you’re here.
For prime leaf peeping, you really can’t go wrong with the steep, but relatively short Cathedral Lake hike, the endless beauty on the hike up to American Lake or the easily-accessible Hunter Creek trail, with its unique views of Aspen and Ajax.
