Reopening for the Summer

July 1, 2020

We are excited to announce that all Limelight Hotels and The Lounges have reopened for summer operations.
For the past two months, we have been eagerly preparing for our summer reopenings, working closely with state and local authorities in Colorado and Idaho to be in lockstep with their guidance. That has meant a careful and meticulous focus on modifying our operations with a focus on safety, particularly when it comes to increased sanitization processes. Our commitment to our guests is to be as thorough as possible, and to even exceed governmental guidelines where possible, just to be sure.

As a guest, you’ll notice a few policies that are new: all staff will be wearing masks for the foreseeable future, social distancing will be carefully monitored in common areas, public hand-sanitizer stations will be prevalent, and the format of our daily signature breakfast will be modified to ensure safety. Behind the scenes, housekeeping will use rigorous protocols for guest room cleaning (including the use of hospital-level disinfectants) and electrostatic sprayers will be used throughout the hotel to sanitize surfaces.

These are just some of the many ways we are modifying our operations to ensure guest safety and to minimize potential exposure. If you'd like to learn more, click here.

In the meantime, please contact us if you have any questions about your upcoming stay.

Guest Responsibility

The Limelight Hotels and Aspen Snowmass are open and we want to stay that way.

Please come and enjoy the clear air, wide-open spaces and freedom our mountains have to offer. Please also remember that we are still operating in a pandemic. While we will do everything possible to provide a safe experience, every guest has a responsibility to do the same. Hit the biking and hiking trails, savor the rivers, soak in the views, but please do so while respecting local health and safety regulations.

Masks are required while inside and in congested spaces; social distancing remains part of life for now. All three Limelight locations are at high altitude and our hospitals have limited facilities, so please, if you are sick or at risk, save your visit for another time. It’s going to take all of us working together to push through the challenges we face.

Please follow the five commitments of containment and visit Pitkin County Health (CO) or Blaine County Health (ID) for the latest information and on COVID-19 in our area.

Best Practices to Reduce COVID-19's Spread

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Wash your hands again.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
