SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENTS

In the event of an emergency or natural disaster in the area, we will provide information to our guests and the general public on this page. However, for the most up-to-date information, contact local authorities and agencies.

Current Operations

November 20, 2020
We have learned so much about ourselves, our community and our guests. It has been humbling and inspiring to have our guests return to the communities of Aspen, Snowmass Village and Ketchum for their needed dose of exploration and nature in this trying year.

Our hard work with state and local authorities has been paying off, while too has our guests' respect for our company policies and local ordinances during this pandemic. We can't do it without your cooperation.
Our commitment to health and safety remains. We will continue to meet (and even exceed) governmental guidelines where possible, and will continue with the following policies:

• All staff wearing masks for the foreseeable future,
• Implementing social distancing in common areas,
• Offering public hand-sanitizer stations in prominent places,
• Pre-packaging our daily signature breakfast for safety,
• The use of rigorous protocols by housekeeping for guest-room cleaning (including the use of hospital-level disinfectants),
• And the use of electrostatic sprayers throughout the hotel to sanitize surfaces.

We ask that guests continue to follow all policies and guidelines. In Colorado, the statewide mandate that masks must be worn by all people over the age of 10 in all public indoor spaces remains in effect for the foreseeable future.

In this unprecedented year, our hope is that we will be able to continue our operations seamlessly. This requires significant commitment from our staff and our guests, but we are full of optimism.

In the meantime, please contact us if you have any questions about your upcoming stay.

Guest Responsibility

The Limelight Hotels and Aspen Snowmass are open and we want to stay that way.

Please come and enjoy the clear air, wide-open spaces and freedom our mountains have to offer. Please also remember that we are still operating in a pandemic. While we will do everything possible to provide a safe experience, every guest has a responsibility to do the same. Hit the biking and hiking trails, savor the rivers, soak in the views, but please do so while respecting local health and safety regulations.

Masks are mandatory while inside and in congested spaces; social distancing remains part of life for now. All Limelight locations are at high altitude and our hospitals have limited facilities, so please, if you are sick or at risk, save your visit for another time. It’s going to take all of us working together to push through the challenges we face.

It must also be noted that individuals who test positive for or have been exposed to COVID-19, while in Colorado, will need to extend their stay at their own expense to complete isolation or quarantine requirements by order of the state of Colorado and Pitkin County.

Please read here for an update on this Winter & Season Passes from our President & CEO, of Aspen Snowmass, Mike Kaplan.
Please follow the five commitments of containment and visit Pitkin County Health (CO) or Blaine County Health (ID) for the latest information and on COVID-19 in these areas.

In case of unforeseen circumstances, we have you covered. Please read our COVID-19 Protection Policy.

Best Practices to Reduce COVID-19's Spread

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Wash your hands again.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
